Mother Nature wasn't exactly on our side the first time we scheduled this session... but knowing that we had to get the session completed before half the family left town we scheduled again for the day after Christmas & it ended up working out perfectly! I'm glad that everything worked out & that we could get these photos taken, since the entire family won't be together again probably for another year! Always happy to create memories!! :)

Can you tell this family is full of Dallas Cowboy fans? Typically I'm against wearing tshirts to photo sessions... but if you're going for a specific theme & that theme happens to be your favorite sports team then I'm totally accepting! :)

Boy was it COLD out the day that we shot this session! These guys were all troopers the entire time! They kept their jackets on until the very last second and then shed them and threw them to the side to pose for their photos! Now that's dedication!!

Waiting for Baby | Erin + Scott | Maternity

We've got an adorable couple here on the blog today & they are anxiously waiting the arrival of their first born! Lucky for me, they were in town from Nashville for Christmas with their family & we were able to squeeze in their session while they were visiting! When we booked the session I wasn't sure if it was going to be freezing & snowing (yeh right) yet so we planned to do the session inside in a beautiful home in Providence (thanks to my realtor friend Michael who allowed us to shoot in his model home!) Luckily it wasn't super cold out so we were able to venture out a little for some outdoor shots! The overcast weather really helped as well because the light was gorgeous & soft... just the way I love for my maternity sessions to be!
